Josh is an anthropologist, visual artist, and urban planner based in the New York City metropolitan area.

His personal practice and research is directed by a long-term interest in cultivating progressive and informed urban policy and design. Specifically concerned with emergent trends in sustainable transportation, planning, and development practices - Josh’s concerns are driven by his own life experiences as an urban citizen.

Combining diverse disciplines, from geography and visual design, to anthropology and history, he seeks to mitigate risks, manage competing interests, and implement tangible solutions to the emergent challenges of the 21st century city.

Currently, Josh works to produce policy, planning, advocacy, and research that benefits local communities.
